About the Tournament
Clubs are invited to join us in Albany from May 16 to 17 for the Great Southern Invitational Badminton Tournament at the Albany Leisure & Aquatic Centre.Held during the Albany 2026 Bicentenary celebrations, the tournament will take place during a vibrant year of activity across the region.With many events scheduled throughout 2026, clubs are encouraged to plan ahead and book accommodation early.An informal Saturday night dinner has been organised for those interested in attending. The dinner booking is for 6:30pm at the Premier Hotel. Order from the menu on arrival. Their menu is available here for any with special dietary requirements.We look forward to welcoming you to the Great Southern Region for a fantastic weekend of badminton.
